Eternal Aura is not a good skill. It seems like it is....but it does not fit on any Dervish build very well

Faithful Intervention is a good skill....but it's very situational at best. Since the skill was not updated when the other skills were..I find it's not needed.

Dwayna's Touch ... really let the healers heal...this skill does not heal you enough to be usfull.

OgGjwqprqSkXabIYkbYXPXBFxg MIGHT be a little better.....keep in mind that most Dervish builds are flexible on your choice of skills. So bringing mystic twister still could be a good choice

----------

that being said i would not recommend Onslaught....(my personal preference). The only good skills in the Wind Prayers line are EoTN skills. And since your most likely playing with heroes the majority of the time, and most likely the only melee character on your team. You have to ask questions like.....

How can I best help my heroes/hench kill faster?
Most would say balling up foes so your casters can kill them faster would be a better use of your time.

Can my character survive long enough to ball up foes on me?
With this build.. no you cant.

Can I do my job in a Pick up Groups?

With this build.. certainly you can.

So remember as a Dervish you have two things to do.. Survive long enough to be usfull ( not easy to do) and deal massive AoE damage( i.e. Always try to hit at least 2 foes at a time). So build around survivability and damage output. Sometimes you have to sacrifice one for the other.

If you find your dying too often.. build a sturdier Dervish

Ogajwqp7qSyX0ksXcXrX0XSXvl

You have good prots and heals on your team and are confident they got your back? build a more damage orientated build.

OgOj4op66SzDqigbzkEYjhOXDYA
OgWkEYp8qxqkMY813VmYe24VAGzF

Your in a PUG and they add you to their team (and not going to FoW)and are not sure what roll they want you to play?.....Go tank..with some damage

Please don't pay any attention to his post. His builds and advice are terrible.

Instead of running a terrible mix of skills you should be communicating with your monk or running better heal and damage mitigation heroes. You don't need all that junk on your bar. It'll just badly handicap you when you think you've got the game understood.

I know PvX isn't that amazing, but they have hero builds and player builds. There's a forum for how to manage and set up heroes on this forum.

Try out the dervish guide for builds and weapon mods.

But seriously don't take any of Not New's advice. And EoTN is worth getting.

The builds that was posted are utter trash the dps on them are so poor as cuilan already said ignore the squib's builds. Look on gwpvx I've linked 2 of the more popular builds that are used in most PuG groups and general PVE and high end PVE

Funny how no one ever tries builds out before labeling them....

Indeed.. I was just trying to say.. the other options for a Dervish are superior than Onslaught. Mainly because of the attribute line it is in ( in my opinion)

Off the top of my head.. this build seems it would work better

I've played with those skills and the dervish profession to know those builds you posted. I was pretty close to reporting your post as trolling, but you put a lot of effort in creating poor bars to be a casual troll.

Like above mention.

Eternal Aura - is one of the useless PvE skill in the game (personal opinion).
Faithful Int - no need (unless your doing some type of solo farm but still there better skill).
Mysic Twister - not that good because of long cast time, whirling charge much better
Mystic Vigor - hmm ok but Grenth's Aura is 100% better
Rending Aura - ok I guess but Attacker's Insight is better
Dwayna's Touch - Not really need it if you bring Grenth's Aura and you got healer support so let them do the job. And bring another attack skill.

Skill I think you should take a look:

Vow of Piety - Is almost given if you bring wind prayer attrib it such a good skill especially if you got short spamming flash enchantment. +24 armor and +3 HP regen 24/7 what more do you want.

Chilling Victory - Is a good scythe attack to bring. (By the time this is charge is most likely the foe your hitting have a lower HP then you)

SY! - Bring SY! if you have it to take advantage of Onslaught attack speed and adrenaline bonus

There what I like to use with my Onslaught. (you can replace EVAS for Attacker's Insight for more protection or another attack skill like Victorious Sweep or Aura Slicer)

For the above bar by NotNew I too find it weird on the configuration:

1. Why bring Wild Blow and then bring Balthazar' Rage?? Lost the hard enough adrenaline for nothing. Also Onslaught (with adrenaline and speed bonus) build adrenaline very fast so you want to take advantage of it not lost it.

2. Onslaught have a low recharge time and easily spammable with wind attb at just 8. So no need to bring extend enchantments. So is whirling charge spammable, and attacker insight is spammable. Maybe in PvP it help a little because lack of foe but not PvE.

3. If you want to set foe on fire why not bring Heart of Holy Flame, over Rage. If you say Rage help gain adrenaline faster but then you only have 2 adrenaline skills so your not taking full advantage of it anyways.

But then it just off his head as mention so I take he haven't look at the bar closely.

Played the dervish profession enough to know any skill sets like that are tripe. If anything these builds wont help any one new to the dervish profession

On to the op an onslaught bar can be permanently maintained it has some decent DPS but its in the shadow of the uber dps build pious renewal.

This 1 I use when not doing anything with other humans since heroes do 90% of the work nowadays your build has 2 things to do help demolish the enemies and 2 have something to dohttp://www.gwpvx.com/Special:PvXDecode?title=Special%3APvXDecode&wpBuil d=OgGjwipsqSvlXgcfDY7gabdfxg&wpName=&Go=Submit OgGjkyqKLSvlXgcfDY7gabdfxgA

Simple to deduct tho; Radient for ermites attack, Zealous Sweep for Reap impurutys, and A-scan for another cover enchant this way a zealous scythe would be ideal swapping now and again for a vamp scythe nothing warrents running MEH! builds like what you posted since I linked that build earlier I realised but hey its 100% better then what you've posted.

Hades Sargent hasn't been online since his last reply, it'll be a tragedy if he doesn't return. I hope he finds good players to be around with in-game.
